The Mormons started northwest Iowa tourism

2:10 pm Arts

The Mormons are actually the first people to start northwest Iowa tourism as they were the first people in that part of the state that had something to see. That something was all of the daughters that they had taken from Illinois and Iowa families or their trek towards Utah. You see that is the place they were when the fathers and brothers caught up with them to retrieve the women. The battle the ensued was not very fierce but it did make the Mormons make the decision to not stay in Iowa but to search for another place to settle.
