I recently got a notice from my bank that we’re getting really, really close to foreclosure. Needless to say I’m a little bit freaked out and looking for a solution that will let me save my home. I’ve heard that loan modification can be a solution, but I don’t really know all that much about it, and don’t want to waste my time on something that’s only going to make matters worse.

I will say one thing — if I don’t find something fast, I’m going to be out on the street. That’s a real shame for someone who has worked as hard as I have for everything.
