My mother has been having trouble with her hips over the last couple of years and has some trouble getting around.  She has seen her doctor about this and was told that the only thing that can help her is hip replacement surgery.  However, she is not a candidate for this since she has some other health issues that makes surgery a very bad idea.  I have been talking with her and have convinced her to look for a battery mobility scooter.  She was reluctant at first, but she finally decided it would be a great idea.  I am sure it will make a difference in her quality of life.
