Well if you are an executive that does a lot of traveling over seas the answer is probably yes. But what about someone like me. I am an executive but I never leave the country, so do I need Kidnap And Ransom Insurance?  I hear stories about American Executives that get kidnapped for ransom right here at home. My company offers this coverage to those that travel extensively but I think I would like to have it too. Four years ago a bank manager I know was kidnapped and held for ransom. He was released when the ransom was paid but it really devastated his family finances. I think I will get this insurance even if I have to pay for it myself. It is worth it to my peace of mind.
