I’ve always been a bit of an impulsive shopper, but when it came to life insurance, I have to admit, I was uncharacteristically cautious. Luckily, it’s really much easier than I thought to get a life insurance quote, and I was surprised how many online brokers there are these days. Before I knew it, I had replies from four online brokers, each giving me quotes for four or five different policies. The best thing was that I could take my time and read all the fine print in my own lounge room. I could see who the underwriter was, how much I could be insured for (and whether that was going to be enough), and what restrictions they had on claims. Taking my time actually ended up saving me a lot of money!
