I had completed my education and began looking for a job.  The long years obtaining my advanced degree gave me some optimism that I would have a better chance of obtaining a position than some others although the interview process gave me some concern.  I hoped that my expereince as well as my education would give me an advantage of a graduate career over some of the other applicants.  I was so relieved to be told that I had the positioned, and when they told me the salary, part of my brain kept saying And they are going to  pay me as well! I was so grateful for my education.
