The French Maid look is very very popular. Short full black skirt with white lace trim. Black blouse with puffed sleeves and more white lace trim. I also saw some dressed in white Nurse’s uniforms, but these are much less popular than the maid-look. A sort of little-girl-look is also pretty common, it sometimes even includes carrying a teddy-bear.

Lots of Malice Mizer look-a-likes. (Malice Mizer is the biggest Goth band in Japan–very popular). They especially like to copy what I like to call the Claudia-Look. Reminds me of Claudia from Interview with A Vampire. Blonde ringlet curls (they sell wigs like this in Goth fashion stores in Tokyo), blue or green 18th-19th century French-looking dresses with lots of white lace. The sad thing is that you can BUY one of these Malice Mizer type outfits right down the road from the place where all the Goths hang out (Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, on Sundays-near Harajuku subway station). They don’t even have to have any creativity at all, just enough money. Same with the Nurse and Maid outfits. Ready-made, for sale, right near Yoyogi.

I went with a memory foam mattress and its great overall and I also use a bean bag chair for kids. I did buy an addition pillow topper for that extra comfort so I’m sleeping as well as I ever have. The pillow topper wasn’t cheap but I went with quality instead of looking for the bargain. Memory foam can be great or terrible it would seem. I know people may dislike it because of the firmness but that doesn’t bother me. It’s been a very long time since I had any quality sleep in my life. I feel as if I was living but I wasn’t. The lights were on but nobody was home if you understand me. 

There is no reason to pay full price for something that can be done much more simply with a less costly project.  The thing you want to remember is how much you are going to use the room you are redecorating and the amount of traffic you are going to have across the floor.  When you use hardwood laminate flooring you can have a spectacular looking space without all of the work of a regular hardwood floor and be completely happy with the results.  The people you invite into your home will remark how great the floor looks and many will be surprised that it is laminate flooring.

Beauty is being defined in each of us. We have our own description of what is beautiful for us. It is created and reflected in our different personality. Though most of us are have different views in most ways, we may sometimes agree chorally on one thing. Yet this rarely happens. But when we do, perhaps, this thing is truly something unique. Just like in the work of art in our home. We get to agree that most lamps are beautiful but some may not appreciate with us. Yet, when we see some spectacularly unique lamps, it is amazing that we find the others and most of them agreeing with us.

There’s quite a nip in the air even day time, so i know the first snow of the winter is not far away. problem is, I’ve not sorted out the outdoor storage yet. I can get most stuff put away as usual, but there’s all the additional stuff I’ve bought for the patio and garden during the summer. It’s not a lot, but enough to be a problem if I don’t get it away. So to save time, I’m getting a resin horizontal storage shed. It’s not so much a shed as a small store box I can just leave on the patio. I can sipp a dram of whiskey on a sunny frosty day.

You are going to be beautiful at your wedding. It’s just a simple fact. All eyes will be on you and all eyes will be envious. You will look like a million bucks, but trust me, you don’t have to spend a million bucks to look that way. Any budget wedding planner worth her keep will tell you a wedding gown does not have to cost you an arm and a leg. You can get a relatively cheap wedding gown and still be the bell of the ball.

Many brides have their dresses picked out long before they have picked their spouses. Others have bridal magazines opened as soon as the question is popped. But when the act of actually getting the dress comes, a bride’s hopes can be dashed by the price tag.

I love my living room. Everything is perfect. The tables have the right size for the room. The LCD flat screen TV also looks great on the other side of the room. The sofas complement the area as well. The window found behind the sofa is also nice. Do you know why? Because of the blinds. It has unique designs that blend properly with the room. Its color is also good. Not too bright and not too dull as well. The last thing I placed is the curtains. This part seems to be the icing on the cake as I appreciate the total beauty of my living room. window shutter

My husband’s company transferred our family to England for three years and we have been having a wonderful time.  However, the first few months were pretty tough, especially trying to understand how to get things done when I had no idea what anyone was talking about.  A classic example was changing our mobile phone number.  We wanted to change carriers but keep our number.  I had no idea how to do that but my ten-year-old son told me that I needed a port authorisation code – everyone at school said so.  He was right, and I soon got one from my carrier, switched with no problems, and made a note to ask my son what he knew about converting money.

Last summer my daughter got married. Her ceremony took place in our backyard under the moonlight. We knew that we needed some outdoor party lighting for the occasion, but we weren’t sure what kind would look best. We didn’t want anything that would be distracting or something that wouldn’t go along well with the theme of the wedding. In the end, we decided to use plain old Christmas lights. We chose beautiful white outdoor lights to place over the canopy where the reception would be held. The wedding and reception turned out beautifully and everyone was talking about the beautiful lights that were covering the canopy!
