I definitely have prejudices.  I suppose we all do, as a matter of fact.  Take, for instance, my stereotype of online wine clubs.  I figured they would be totally out of reach financially, for one thing.  I also was under the mistaken impression that a normal person like me–that is, someone with very little knowledge about wines and the manufacturing thereof–would not be welcome.  At the recommendation of a friend, however, I did join one of these groups and have had a wonderful time learning about and sampling the varieties they send.  It’s nice to be wrong sometimes, especially when you benefit from such positive results.
