Spring Cleaning for the Dust Mites
March 12, 2009 4:36 am HealthEvery year around April I get out all my cleaning supplies, the vacuum, open up the house to air out and start my war to Kill dust mites that might have survived the winter. I take all the bed linens off my beds and put the mattresses out in the sun; dust mites hate the sun. The next thing is to start in my bathroom and remove all carpets and mats and wash them in hot water. You will never be rid of all these pesky bugs but you can really cause them some problem in finding a good place to reproduce and comfortably rest.
