Extreme thirst and excessive urination are the two most obvious diabetes symptoms. The thirst is an attempt by the body to dilute the sugar in the system and the urinating is another of the body’s defense systems which attempts to flush out excess sugar.

Another symptom of diabetes is mostly unknown to the public. It is one of the most surprising  and one of the hardest to deal with and that is the poor healing of wounds. Any wounds may heal slowly, if at all when the  wound is suffered by a diabetic person.. Combine this with infections that are not so easily remedied and you can see how diabetes can attribute to ulcers and loss of limbs.
