I remember when I was in junior high and it was the trend at our school to wear these brightly colored big plastic looking earrings every day, and you could never wear the same pair two days in a row.  They came in packs of seven, so that you would have a different pair and different color for each day of the week.  They were even labeled Monday through Friday on the little hang tag at the store.  My how trends have changed since then.  Now people are looking for David Yurman-inspired earrings to fill their jewelry box with.
