One of the newest weapons in the stun guns family is the liquid stun gun. Liquid stun guns work very similar to Taser guns, except these weapons use a liquid stream to conduct electricity rather than extended wires. The liquid stun gun is hooked up to highly conductive liquid in a tank. The liquid is a mixture of water, salt and other conductive elements that will cause an electrical charge. Pulling the trigger causes electrical currents to travel from the gun, through the liquid stream, and onto the attacker. Liquid stun guns produce a longer firing range than the Taser.
