I love to go camping with my family.  We always camp in a popup camper, which may not be the greatest camper on the campground, but it works for us.  There are a lot of advantages that popup campers have over their larger counterparts.  The number 1 reason that people tend to get a pop-up camper is that they are reasonably priced.  They’re the entry level camper in the industry, costing tends of thousands less than travel trailers and fifth wheels, and hundreds of thousands of dollars less than diesel pushers.  They’re also easy to tow which is great if you have an SUV or minivan which would need to be replaced if you were going to pull a fifth wheel or a standard travel trailer with a big truck. Plus, they save money on gas since they’re small and aerodynamic when being transported.
