When my husband and I got married, we had a lot of fun picking things out for our wedding registry. It was like a massive shopping spree, but we didn’t actually spend any money. Our family and friends are quite conservative, so we were careful to pick things that were affordable and not extravagant. We went with things like toasters, crock pots and tea glasses. We threw in a few bigger ticket items for parents, grandparents or friends that might want to go in together. And, after the wedding, we had a already put together list of everything we still needed for our home. It was one of the best parts of planning the wedding.
