All guitar players start with Beginner Guitar Lessons

Possibly you owned a guitar for a couple of years but haven’t figured out much other then a few chords. Of course there are a lot of things that come to play such as time playing, past lessons, and practice time. How ever a big part of propelling yourself to a higher playing level with guitar is beginner guitar lessons.
Starting off on the right foot as a new guitar player can pave the path you follow for your whole playing career (either recreational or professional). Learning on your own can be tempting but you won’t always teach yourself what’s needed to progress, or you take longer. Either purchasing a learn at home guitar course, or taking private lessons ensures you’re learning what you need at the right point in time.
From the guitar players I know and have seen, including myself, not starting with a good foundation (theory, technique, music reading) will hinder your long term success with playing guitar. While you might be playing songs faster then anyone taking private lessons, they’ll quickly catch you in skill level when you peak out with your self taught knowledge and they excel above you because they have the musical foundation to progress.
