One of the most endearing clocks of all time has got to be Grandfather clocks. You can’t help but notice a Grandfather clock when you enter someones home. They’re stately and handsome. I’ve been reading up on the history of Grandfather clocks and it seems that they were a style of clock that morphed over time. It seems that in the late 1600′s the Grandfather clock as we know it today was born. My husband and I have been looking at antique Grandfather clocks because we definitely want to buy one. There are so many different types of woods and styles that it’s not easy to choose!
