My mother has never had a credit card. It’s kind of strange in this age; however that is just how she has lived her life. Last Sunday she called me on the telephone and started asking me questions about how to compare credit card rates. I spoke with her for about 15 minutes. I told her to compare the interest rate on each card that she was looking at. I told her to find out if there are any grace periods on these cards. Finally I told her to apply for four different cards. One thing she really wants is an oil company gas card.
