My friend Tony called me the other day to tell me about an argument he had gotten into with his wife. He told me she is adamant about replacing their carpet with hardwood floors. I told him to bring her over to my house for a few minutes in the morning and she will change her mind. The next morning they came over for coffee and I asked them to take their shoes off. She made a comment of how cold the floors were. I told her I wish I would have rugs, but my wife insists on hardwoods and they are always chilly. Needless to say Tony told me she changed her mind.
