Bad weather necessitates the need for a roof estimate
April 23, 2008 7:16 am ReferenceA recent windstorm left several cracks in the roof of my home necessitating the need to do some repair work. The water seeped through the ceiling resulting in some water damage down one of the walls of my home. I don’t have the time or expertise to attend to the matter but I used the internet to do some background research and get a rough idea of what I would be looking at for a roof estimate. This matter needs urgent attention since any additional rain could potentially cause greater damage. Fortunately I have been able to arrange a contractor to come early next week. Often it takes several weeks to get contractors to turn up but since I mentioned the urgency I was able to get one to respond promptly.

Locating the village barn might not have been much of a challenge for my German removal firm, but carting my awkwardly shaped belongings in the narrow staircase in the barn it was! For very long term storage it’s imperative to occupy as little space as you possibly can by stacking items upwards and to keep belonging safe and dry. The next time I shall certainly invest in green, recyclable boxes when moving house again.
