I don’t get to spend that much time with my exmormon dad and wished we would more. He did take me out on my birthday to play at a video arcade and I took him to see the third Indiana Jones, plus we took a fun trip to Walla Walla – just the two of us once. But those three things are the only times I remember bonding one on one. I wonder if being exmormon made him feel more distant from me since I was still a believer. I really wanted to go on this trip to Montana with him but couldn’t because I had an appointment I couldn’t reschedule.
