With increased competition for medical school spaces in the UK more and more British residents are turning to other options to start or further their medical careers. Starting a medical career abroad is at present a sound choice for most people as it can work out just as economical as doing it in the UK especially with the rising cost of university courses and accommodation and the quality of the medical schools is the same if not greater than those that are based in the UK. Of course going abroad to study will not be for each person but it will be a great opportunity to study a new language and take part in a different countries culture and way of life. A career in medicine can be very rewarding and wherever you begin it you will in no way come to regret it.
