I have a probate question regarding the executor of the estate. If I believe that I hold a higher percentage in the remaining assets of my family should I be able to hire a lawyer to argue who is really the executor? I was not the first one in town when my mother passed away and my sister automatically assumed the role as executor. It is now turning in to an ugly situation but I would like to have equal decision making responsibilities if not all of them. I understand there can only be one executor, but I really feel that one should be me.
