There are a lot of cool augmented reality company and they’ve announced that their Layar Reality Browser is now available for free in the app store. These reality augmentation apps take advantage of the iPhone 3GS GPS and compass along with the internet connectivity to basically feed you information about what you point the camera to iPod Touch Jailbreak. It is some pretty amazing stuff and Layar seems to do it admirably. We did notice some missing information about our area but since much of it is user generated anyway, we would expect people to start twittering about it pretty soon.
