Now this system recieved cult status and was successful to an extent.  While not as bad as some other game systems that came out during the time, what ended the run for this system was the ridiculous prices.  I never even looked into getting one but I have read in articles that the games themselves cost over 100 dollars a piece which is just mindboggling even today with the price of games being high.  They had some great classic game for the system but the price is what got people to not purchase.  Can you blame them when you have to pay that much for one game.
