When Zell Miller III began writing poetry, he paid thebills as an insurance investigator.  “It was a crazyjob,” Miller says.  “I made a lot of calls inGeorgia.”  This was in 1993-94, when another man namedZell Miller was finishing his first term as Governorof Georgia.  Zell Miller III had never heard of theguy.“I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get people inGeorgia to call me back.”  He’s speaking to an Atlanta video photographer with no answers. Finally, “I talked to one crazy customer.  He says,you’re not the Governor.  So I did a little research.”Zell Miller III learned that his name carried morethan a little baggage.
