Do Kids Still Get Wings with Online Flights to Las Vegas?

7:12 pm Travel

Not that many years ago, all small children on flights to Las Vegas would receive a special visit from the captain of the jet to hand them a shiny pair of junior pilot wings that they could wear on their shirt later to impress friends. Unfortunately, the magical experience of actually meeting the captain doesn’t happen any more for security reasons and the gleaming metal junior pilot wings have changed to inexpensive plastic versions, but those children’s wings are still available on most airline flights to Las Vegas. Unlike in the past though, parents must now specifically request a set of wings for their child from any cabin worker on the flight. If the cabin worker likes children, they might be handed over in a special manner, but don’t set your child up for this special occasion because it does not always happen that way. Junior pilot wings from flights to Las Vegas and other places are collectible today, so it is always fun for young fliers to receive their flight souvenir. Yes! When parents purchase their children’s ticket online, they can still receive their junior pilot wings on flights to Las Vegas.
